Role Title: Enterprise Domain Architect Location: London Duration: 5 months Onsite: 2-3 days per week Rate: £550 p/d (Inside IR35) Role Overview Seeking an Enterprise Domain Architect to define and deliver the IT strategy for a key business domain (such as customer channels, finance, or operations). The role involves designing and maintaining the domain's application, data, and technology architecture to support business objectives, leading digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring alignment with the wider enterprise strategy. Key Responsibilities Define and deliver the target architecture for applications, data, and technology within the domain, ensuring scalability, performance, and reusability. Translate business objectives into modular, future-proof system designs aligned with enterprise standards. Lead digital transformation initiatives-integrating new platforms, improving efficiency, and modernising Legacy systems. Develop and manage transition and implementation roadmaps, ensuring delivery against long-term architectural goals. Establish architecture principles, governance, and best practices for projects within the domain. Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, advising on design feasibility and communicating progress to stakeholders. Key Skills & Experience Proven experience designing enterprise-level IT architectures across applications, data, and infrastructure. Role Title: AWS Platform Lead Location: Knutsford Contract Length: 3 months Onsite Requirement: 2-3 days per week Day Rate: £450 (Inside IR35) Looking for an AWS Platform Lead to take ownership of cloud strategy, technical delivery, and team leadership for a high-impact programme. This role combines strategic direction, hands-on technical expertise, and leadership of a talented AWS engineering team. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy Lead and inspire a team of AWS engineers and architects. Define and deliver cloud adoption, migration, and optimisation strategies. Partner with stakeholders to ensure cloud initiatives align with business objectives. Technical Delivery Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient AWS architectures. Oversee deployment, monitoring, and optimisation of AWS environments. Perform AWS Well-Architected Reviews and enforce best practice compliance. Project & Team Management Manage project plans, resources, and budgets effectively. Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Security, and Application Development. Innovation & Automation Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation. Drive automation across provisioning, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud operations. Stay ahead of emerging AWS services and cloud technologies to enhance platform capability.

Cards Solution Architect Location: Knutsford - 2 days a week in office Duration: 2-3 months Rate: £500 p/d Inside IR35 Role Description Seeking a Cards Solution Architect with experience in current account journeys, including loans and account switching. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technology solutions for complex core banking and current account challenges, ensuring systems are scalable, resilient, and secure. This role requires strong domain expertise in payments, core banking, and cards systems. You will work closely with stakeholders across business and technology, taking ownership of solution architecture for core banking programmes, and guiding integration strategies-balancing cloud adoption, automation, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Provide expertise in the Cards and Payments domain, particularly in card issuance and authorisation journeys. Lead design and technical architecture for loans, savings/current accounts, current account switching, and payments, with focus on scalability, resiliency, security, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and business analysts to align solutions with business requirements and risk controls for current accounts. Oversee architectural governance, producing design artefacts for privacy, records management, and risk. Advise business and product teams, support technical delivery, and drive innovation in the banking landscape. Evaluate and integrate vendor products, contribute to systems strategy, and automate operational processes to reduce manual intervention. Essential Expertise Strong knowledge of the current account and core banking landscape, payment schemes, and architecture paradigms (cloud, APIs, DevOps, security). Hands-on experience with workforce planning tools and reporting platforms (Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Tableau, Confluence). Familiarity with project delivery best practices. Excellent stakeholder management, business acumen, and ability to influence strategy across multiple teams and business functions.
