You should have a UK Honours degree (or ENIC-NARIC recognised degree) in a relevant discipline and a PGCE or other teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one (to achieve within 2 years of appointment). You will also have a Postgraduate qualification at level 7 in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional qualification (or willing to work towards). You must be a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) or equivalent practice experience and a current practicing counsellor. You will also have a strong awareness of contemporary developments within the Counselling Services Sector.
