As you progress, your role will involve managing client relationships and larger accounts. There are also opportunities to become involved in new business development. Your typical day will be diverse! You might be dealing with applications at 9am, booking in interviews at 11am, headhunting a candidate from a competitor at 1pm and then agreeing terms with a new client by 3pm! You will spend the majority of your day creating & building relationships and facilitating the recruitment process between both candidates and clients. You will also have the freedom to be out on the road visiting new and existing clients and have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the growth and success of April Quest. They design & manufacture detection, and monitoring equipment products as both a fixed and portable system. They are currently on the lookout for a Field Service Engineer to look after the Darlington and other surrounding areas in the North East. Remuneration is up to £45,000 with overtime! Info about what the Field Service Engineer role entails: Seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team nationwide. This regional role covers Darlington & other surrounding areas, reporting to the Field Service Engineering Manager. In this role you will be attending customer sites to perform proactive maintenance, repairs & commissioning of their products. Some of the responsibilities include: Servicing, calibrating and repairing detection equipment to relevant standards Ensure all serviced products are fully operational, tested and have completed service paperwork Support other team members on jobs that require multiple engineers Requirements of the Field Service Engineer: Must have experience in instrument/electronic equipment service, troubleshooting/repair, commissioning, and/or installation. HNC/HND in an electrical/electronic field or equivalent understanding gained from work experience. Full driving license Prior Field Service Engineering experience Desirable requirements of the Field Service Engineer: Previous experience with fire alarm systems or similar electronic devices Preferably hold Confined Space, IPAF, and Safety Passport certifications, but training is provided.
