About the Role This is a salaried teacher training programme designed for graduates and aspiring teachers who are ready to take their first formal step into the profession while earning and training at the same time. Training & Progression with Grad2Teach This role follows Grad2Teach's fully salaried, two-phase teacher training model: Phase One - Level 4 & Foundational Training Complete your Level 4 NCFE customised qualification while working in school Training aligned to the Core Content Framework (CCF) and Teachers' Standards Guided practice, observations, instructional coaching and professional learning sessions Increasing classroom responsibility with structured mentor support Phase Two - PGCE & QTS (Coventry University) Subject to successful progression, Phase Two includes: Independent teaching responsibility (up to 18 hours per week) Completion of a PGCE with QTS through Coventry University (NITE) Ongoing mentoring, assessment and development towards meeting all Teachers' Standards This structured progression ensures you gain the skills, confidence and accreditation needed to begin your career as a fully qualified Design & Technology teacher specialising in Engineering.
