Legal Advisor - Construction Contracts A leading construction contractor and developer is seeking a Contracts Legal Advisor to join its legal and commercial team. Key Responsibilities: Provide legal and contractual support throughout the project lifecycle, from tender stage to completion. Review and analyse building contracts during the tender process. Identify contractual risks, liabilities, and commercial opportunities. Conduct due diligence and provide recommendations to internal stakeholders. Negotiate building contracts with clients, client legal teams, and external solicitors. Ensure contracts align with the company's insurance and risk management requirements. Support the pre-construction commercial and legal teams with non-contentious contract matters. Requirements: Approximately 3+ years' experience in a similar role with a contractor, developer, or construction consultancy. Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor - Commercial Interior Fit-Out Overview An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a respected commercial interiors contractor specialising in hospitality and leisure fit-out projects across the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring effective cost control, accurate financial forecasting, and the successful commercial delivery of each project. Working on a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from small refurbishment works to major fit-out schemes valued at up to 5 million, you'll gain exposure to a wide variety of pubs, bars, restaurants, hotels, and leisure venues nationwide. The Role As part of an established and collaborative commercial team, you will work closely with operational and project delivery colleagues to oversee the financial performance of multiple live projects. Key responsibilities include: Managing the commercial aspects of projects from award through to final account. Monitoring project costs, budgets, and cash flow to maximise profitability. Preparing and submitting valuations, variations, and final accounts. Procuring and managing subcontractor packages. Producing accurate cost reports and financial forecasts. Good understanding of procurement and subcontractor management. Estimating or tendering experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
