Demonstrable experience in at least one back-end type safe programming language (Golang Preferred but other experience can be considered) Comfortable/experienced with back-end micro-service architecture and communication, specifically REST and asynchronous messaging services (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ etc.) Comfortable/experience within a Scrum framework working with as part of a team to deliver business functions and customer journeys that are tested and automated throughout the CICD pipeline to production. TDD skills desirable. Desired: Bachelors Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, The role will require 2-3 days per week onsite in Sussex. Datacentre Operator Cardiff About the Role We are seeking an experienced Datacentre Operator to join an operations team in Cardiff on a 6-month contract inside IR35. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Datacentre Operator to work within a dynamic environment managing critical infrastructure and job scheduling operations. Key Responsibilities As a Datacentre Operato r , you will be responsible for managing and monitoring job schedules, ensuring smooth operations across our datacentre environment. You'll work with scheduling tools, execute operational procedures, and maintain system reliability through 12-hour shift patterns.
