They are a successful multi-disciplinary Engineering/Construction Consultancy who work for a wide variety of clients on exciting projects throughout the UK The successful Civil/Structural CAD Technician will be responsible for producing high-quality civil and structural drawings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supporting project delivery from concept to construction stages. ARCHITECT POSITION : Architect LOCATION : Commutable from Hull , Beverley , Grimsby, Lincoln , Doncaster, Selby , York, Leeds Hybrid role - Generally in the office 2/3 days per week HOURLY RATE : Contract rate available on a PAYE or Ltd Co basis - £27PH - £35PH THE ROLE : This is a contract position for 6 months for an experienced Architect to join this multi-disciplinary practice. The contract may well be extended. PROJECT MANAGER - ENGINEERING/CONSTRUCTION POSITION : Project Manager LOCATION : The role involves working across the UK . Ideally the candidate will be based in or near to any of of these locations - Beverley , Hull , Leeds , Sheffield , Doncaster, York, Lincoln , Harrogate SALARY AND BENEFITS : £30-40k Depending on experience. Company vehicle and fuel provided. Excellent benefits including pension and yearly bonus THE ROLE : Our client would like to recruit a Project Manager with a Construction or Engineering background to work for them across the UK. This role will involve significant travel during the week ( Mon to Fri ) , typically with 1 day working from home. All accommodation will be paid for along with an agreed daily subsistence payment when you are working away. Ideally candidates will live in the Yorkshire/East Midlands area to enable easy access to the sites they will be working on across the country. Applications are welcome from candidates with an Engineering or Construction background. Specific experience of working on chillers/freezers would be beneficial but is not essential. This is an opportunity to Project Manage the installation of specialist chiller/freezer equipment into a retail environment, along with service requirements for existing locations. The successful candidate will be required to carry out an initial 2 week training period in Germany DUTIES WILL INCLUDE : Pre-installation site meetings and start-up meetings with the client and the Main Contractor on sites throughout the UK Production of Risk Assessments and Method Statements for installation projects. Pre-installation site checks and liaison with Main Contractors to ensure site requirements are in place prior to commencement of work. Including site measurements and spot levels of ground slab conditions Liaison and planning of sub-contract installation engineers for projects throughout the UK On site spot checks to ensure the quality of workmanship is up to the high standards required On site spot checks to ensure Health & Safety regulations are being followed in accordance with Risk & Method Statements issued. On site problem solving, assisting sub-contract engineers as and when necessary, ordering and progressing orders for missing, damaged components and generally ensuring the projects are running efficiently and effectively. Ensuring programme dates are met. Post installation inspections and snagging of our works. Handover of works to the Client.
