Quality Control (QC) Operative Temporary Contract Location: Ashbourne, Derbyshire Hours: Monday to Friday, Days Pay Rate: £13.20 per hour Start Date: Ideally week commencing 24th November 2025 Contract Length: 3 months+ About the Role We re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Operative to join our client's team on a temporary basis. In this role, you ll play a key part in maintaining the high standards of quality and compliance across all incoming raw materials and ingredients used in the production process. Key Responsibilities Carry out inspections of all incoming raw materials and ingredients. Perform physical appraisals, label checks, sampling, and documentation verification. Manage sample storage, documentation, and barcoding to ensure traceability and compliance. Support the release of products to production that meet full regulatory and quality standards. Work collaboratively with the wider team to uphold site-wide quality assurance procedures. About You Ideally, you ll have experience working in a quality environment within manufacturing. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately. Comfortable using IT systems for documentation and record-keeping. A team player with a proactive and flexible attitude.
