Job Summary To apply a wide range of water based and solvent based paint finishes to metallic, composite and plastic substrates. Achieve a high quality finish in line with engineering process specification, drawing and customer requirements. Scope of Responsibilities Work as a part of a small team of skilled paint technicians. Report any issues or constraints to operations line leader in a timely manner. Accept responsibility for on time delivery of quality conforming product. Be able to work with a wide range of support functions including manufacturing engineers, line leaders, production controllers and production co-ordinators. Participate in improvement activities as and when required to do so Key Responsibilities Preparing, mixing and applying various primers, paints and top coats as per colour document requirements. Preparing substrate surfaces for priming and top coating. Polishing where required, by use of hand or air tools. Masking to drawing requirements to ensure correct finish is achieved.
