The role A Senior Network Engineer is required to join the India Deployment Team, responsible for the deployment and planning of our customers network infrastructure. The team is responsible for the delivery and deployment of network/security projects and requests to enhance the client's infrastructure to meet current and future business demands. Key responsibilities Plan, manage and deploy technology changes to support DC services Deploy LAN infrastructure to support end user services requirements Includes patching schedules for facilities to cable network equipment Diagrams for Network Operations Inventory management Create implementation plans for RFC's to a high level of detail. Correctly document pre and post checks for change verification purposes Understand and document back out plans, clearly identifying back out points. Identify points of no return Support the stability and uptime of essential services by planning changes with a documented best approach mind set. Identify where changes can be complete with zero downtime to hosted services. Plan and implement changes with a cost effective resource strategy. Identify, understand and document change risks and mitigation tactics. Identify, understand and document impact of planned technology changes, including documentation expected output from verification. Document network estate for Operation Support and to support change planning Maintain infrastructure database Complete network diagrams to a high standard. Peer review and validation of technical deployment plans Provide constructive feedback to peers to support change control requirement and maintain high standards of detail and quality offered by CACI. Core skills, knowledge and experience required Good level of Cisco Routing & Switching Proficient with multiple routing methods, route summarization. Designs medium enterprise routing domains. Experience working on Cisco Nexus and Catalyst platforms. Experience in configuring VLAN trunking, EtherChannel, Layer 2 redundancy. Designs Layer 2 topology to avoid loops, tuning STP for large networks. Designs medium to large enterprise switching networks. Ability to handle numerous separate projects concurrently Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail. Able to implement BGP policies, communities, route maps. Enterprise LAN, WAN and Data Centre architectures Network migration and transformation projects Analyse, review and understand network topologies. Experience in designing rack layouts, structured cabling for medium DCs. Able to implement BGP/OSPF within data centres. Designs hybrid DC connectivity (MPLS, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute). Designs large enterprise/global WAN, hybrid routing. Coordinate multiple projects, change management and governance efficiently working both independently and as a member of a team. Knowledge of EVPN and VXLAN Good understanding of networking principles. Good customer facing skills with the ability to keep the customer informed at all times and understand their requirements Desirable skills (not essential) Automation/Scripting experience in python Expected behaviours We have a structured performance management framework which measures continual attainment against key personal behaviours. You will need to possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, deliver functional workshops, configure forms, roles, searches, and reports, design and develop workflows, and provide day-to-day support. You will have plenty of opportunities to apply and develop your knowledge and experience integrating business units with disparate requirements. Reporting to the Applications and Projects Manager in the Technology department and working alongside our team of NetSuite developers and administrators, you will work with the various business units and closely with Finance to define needs, deliver solutions, resolve issues, and deliver ongoing training and support to embed change. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of hands-on NetSuite experience, be an out-of-the-box thinker, have a proactive approach, and love a challenge. Responsibilities Discover, design, and implement NetSuite (CRM, SRP, ERP and CASE) for new acquisitions and existing business unit processes. Review and enhance existing NetSuite processes.
