Mobile Plant Operator £29,000 Doncaster MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Mobile plant operator to be an additional member of the operations team running an AD Plant in Doncaster. This role will involve loading waste material for use in the gasification process & running the plant. As a Mobile Plant Technician, you will be responsible for: Assisting running an Anaerobic Digestion gasification plant in a safe & efficient manner as part of the operations team Loading material onto conveyor systems Accepting loads of material onto site from large vehicles Keeping site clean & tidy Other duties as required To be considered for this role you should have: A telehandler licence or similar Experience with operation of plant in an agricultural, construction or similar outside role such as armed forces Good communication skills & be IT literate with good record keeping ability 7 attention to details Full, clean driving licence This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading business with huge growth potential. Working on a 40 hour week with no on call rota the EC&I Technician, the will carry out planned & preventative maintenance across this power generation facility based in Birmingham. As the EC&I Technician, you will be responsible for: Carrying out planned & reactive maintenance on electrical process plant PLC & controls fault diagnosis on rotating plant including fans & pumps Supporting during major maintenance periods such as shutdowns, outages etc Responding to breakdowns to ensure continuous operations Maintaining accurate records using the site CMMS Problem solve & assist the electrical engineer with site improvements Working on a days basis to support operations across the site Other duties as required To be considered for this role you should have: A relevant engineering qualified (HNC/NVQ/Apprenticeship etc.) Proven experience in EfW or relevant sector (Biomass / CCGT / energy from waste / Water) Experience troubleshooting, fault finding and rectifying problems on DCS, SCADA and PLCs Electrical maintenance experience on motors, switchgear, VSDs, control panels, etc. Knowledge of all Health, Safety & Environmental legislation and safe systems of work, RAMS, permit to work, etc. This is a permanent position based in Birmingham; due to the location of the plant, you will need a full UK driving licence to access the site.
