Role: Fares & Retail Executive Contract Type: Permanent Location: London Marylebone Salary: 35,000 per annum Job Purpose This role serves as the central point of contact for all fares and retail-related queries, handling initial triage and coordinating their resolution across the Commercial team. It is responsible for producing staff briefs, maintaining key retail back-office systems - including ticket machine configurations, gate settings and the Retail Control Service - and supporting the Fares Implementation Manager, the Retail Systems Manager and the Pricing and Ticketing Manager in managing fares data, retail systems and supplier relationships. The role also involves representing the business at relevant industry groups and supplier meetings. Key Accountabilities First point of contact for all queries and issues raised by other areas of the business relating to fares and retail matters, for example Customer Services. Initial triage of all reported queries and issues raised, and manage their resolution (where appropriate, by other members of the Commercial Team, or with their support). Production and distribution of staff briefs relating to fares and retail matters. Day to day management of retail systems back office systems to keep up to date matters such as ticket machine set-up by station or gate settings for the appropriate acceptance or rejection of tickets. Retail Control Service maintenance, the industry system that defines the fulfilment methods available on particular flows, will be undertaken by this role.
