Inclusive Learning Practitioner Trauma-Informed Specialist Location: King s Lynn, Norfolk Contract: Full-Time, Temp to Perm Salary: £14.40 - £16/hr dependent on experience Are you passionate about supporting young people who have experienced trauma or barriers to learning? We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Inclusive Learning Practitioner to join a dedicated and nurturing educational setting in King s Lynn, Norfolk. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with students aged 5 to 16 who have experienced emotional distress or disrupted education. As an Inclusive Learning Practitioner, you will help learners rebuild confidence, develop trust, and re-engage with education in a safe and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small group support for learners with trauma backgrounds or social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Use trauma-informed approaches to build trust and promote emotional regulation. Support classroom learning by adapting materials and strategies to individual needs. Encourage positive behaviour and resilience through consistent, nurturing support. Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and external agencies to ensure holistic care for each student. Requirements Experience supporting children or young people affected by trauma, SEMH, or additional learning needs. Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and behaviour support strategies.
