Horizon Teachers are working with our client in North London as they look to add an experienced and reliable caretaker to their team We are seeking a reliable caretaker to help ensure the school environment remains well maintained and welcoming to all visitors Responsibilities of the School Caretaker will include but not be limited to Monitoring all areas of health and safety compliance and reporting back at school meetings Overseeing contractors and signing for and allocating deliveries when requested Checking systems such as fire alarms on a weekly basis The Ideal Candidate must have Previous experience in a school-based caretaking job role Practical DIY skills Thorough understanding of all health and safety procedures The ability to work independently and manage your own time Why Work with Horizon Teacher? Horizon Teachers are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maths Teacher to deliver one-to-one lessons to students with diverse needs, including those with SEND. In this role, you will have the opportunity to teach and support students who are unable to attend mainstream schooling, helping them engage with Maths Studies through tailored and accessible lessons. Key Responsibilities: -Plan and deliver individualised Maths lessons that are aligned with the student's academic level and learning objectives. -Teach a range of topics at GCSE or equivalent levels. -Ability to promote mathematical understanding, engagement and motivation in students. -Remain patient and flexible in the approach to learning by adapting lesson content and teaching methods to support students with SEND and other learning challenges. -Track and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and staff.
