Senior Manhattan Active WM Consultant Location: Islip/Kettering (Hybrid, 3 - 4 days per week and International travel later in 2026) Duration: Initial 12 Months Day Rate: Competitive Inside IR35 A major global retailer is seeking a Senior Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) Consultant to play a key role in a large-scale logistics transformation programme. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused contract supporting the design, configuration, integration, and deployment of Manhattan Active WM across a multi-site, high-volume distribution network. The role requires deep Manhattan Active expertise, strong operational understanding of warehouse environments, and proven experience stabilising complex WMS go-lives in automated distribution centres. What You'll Be Doing Supporting the end-to-end design, configuration, and deployment of Manhattan Active WM across multiple distribution centres. Configuring MAWM using Configuration Director , including advanced operational configuration and process optimisation. Leading and supporting integration design, build, and testing between MAWM, ERP host systems, and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS). Participating in SIT, UAT, and operational readiness phases to ensure robust solution delivery. Providing on-site and remote support during go-live and hypercare, rapidly diagnosing and resolving issues impacting throughput, inventory synchronisation, or operational flow. Required Experience Extensive hands-on experience delivering multiple Manhattan Active WM deployments in large retail or fashion distribution environments. Proven track record stabilising live warehouse operations during rapid WMS go-lives, including resolving messaging, integration, and inventory synchronisation issues. Advanced configuration expertise within MAWM using Configuration Director . Strong experience with Manhattan ProActive , Manhattan ActiveGo , and Manhattan Active Labour Management (MALM) . Demonstrable experience designing and supporting integrations between MAWM, host systems, and WCS in highly automated environments. Experience working within cloud-native Manhattan Active architecture, including microservices and API-driven integrations. Desirable Experience Exposure to Manhattan Active Transport Management (MATM) . Experience delivering large-scale, multi-site WMS transformation programmes. Background supporting automation-heavy warehouse environments within global retail supply chains. Who You Are You bring deep technical expertise in Manhattan Active WM combined with a strong operational understanding of warehouse processes. You're comfortable working with warehouse teams, automation engineers, and senior programme leadership in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment. You thrive in complex distribution settings and can balance technical precision with operational practicality. We're looking for a Change Lead to drive end-to-end transformation across global retail supply chain for a major retailer. This is a high-impact role at the heart of a multi-country change programme, shaping how the organisation evolves, operates, and delivers for millions of customers worldwide. What you'll lead Enterprise-wide change initiatives spanning supply chain, operating model redesign, process optimisation, and major system implementations Cross-programme change integration, ensuring alignment, dependency management, and cumulative impact assessment across multiple workstreams Readiness, adoption, and behaviour-change strategies that enable teams at all levels to transition smoothly and sustainably Senior-leader engagement, partnering with Directors and above to influence decision-making and embed change into business strategy What you'll bring Significant end-to-end supply chain experience within a retail environment, ideally across global or multi-market operations 8-10+ years in Change Management, Transformation, or Organisational Development within large, complex organisations (retail, FMCG, consulting, supply chain, digital) A track record of leading large-scale change programmes or multiple concurrent initiatives in organisations of 20,000+ employees Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders , shaping direction and driving alignment Experience managing cross-programme dependencies , cumulative impacts, and risk mitigation strategies Deep knowledge of change management methodologies and how to apply them pragmatically in fast-moving environments Strong understanding of business process change , operating model shifts, and the impacts of major system implementations Demonstrated success in leading readiness, adoption, and behaviour-change initiatives at scale
