The Role Groundworks and general civils duties on site Operating plant where appropriately qualified Supporting the wider site team and ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently Working Monday to Friday no weekend work Essential Requirements Valid UK Driving Licence Valid CSCS Card or equivalent certification, such as CPCS or NPORS Experience working within a civil engineering / groundworks environment Plant Competencies Required Within the Squad Dumper Roller Plant Vehicle Marshall (PVM) You do not need to hold all of the above the requirement is for these competencies to be covered across the squad. Desirable Training / Authorisations Scottish Power (SP) authorisations / COMP CAT & Generator HSG47 Excavation Marshall Please note: SP authorisations are not essential , although candidates holding these would be highly advantageous. Working Hours Monday Thursday: 07 30 Friday: 07 00 Weekends: No work Start Date Monday 24th August 2026 , or sooner. Oversee and manage day-to-day operations on construction sites. Ensure the project adheres to all engineering specifications, quality standards, and health & safety regulations. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery. Conduct site surveys, inspections, and assessments. Assist with the preparation of site reports and documentation. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site staff. Monitor the progress of the project and troubleshoot any issues that arise. You will have: Qualified to Degree/HND Civil Engineering preferred. Knowledge of various surveying equipment is desirable. CAD Knowledge and knowledge of ground modelling is desirable.
