Our Bedford based Electronics company are currently recruting for a permanent Surface Mount Technician due to workload. Working in a small friendly experienced team. The hours would be Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and then Friday 8.30am to 1.30pm. The role would involve:- Maintaining QCDM work standard and standard performances Performs production on several workstations according to work standards, shift assigned, applying each operation as required and following the procedure set When needed collects, controls and records the necessary activity data (linked to the product, traceability rules, micro stoppage, tick mark ) Checks product during manufacturing and identifies gaps in relation to the acceptability criteria (IPC A 610 and customers specific features) Detects any deviation from standards with safety, quality and productivity SMT Surface Mount Technician Operates the printing machine and/or reflow machine Add the solder paste according to the WI and check the printer Set up the feeder and replenish it timely during the production. Operates AOI Machine Apply today for an immediate start
