Fitter & Assembler - Mechancial Assembly Location: Aylesbury Salary: 29,640 - 31,200 per annum (DOE) Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm (37.5 hours per week) The Opportunity We are recruiting for an experienced Fitter & Assembler to join a busy manufacturing team based in Aylesbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong manufacturing background who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working within a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out fitting and assembly of components to a high standard. Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings, including Third Angle Projection drawings. Follow work instructions and assembly procedures to ensure products are manufactured to specification. Maintain excellent attention to detail to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved. Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process. Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently where required. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production department. Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment. Comply with all Health & Safety policies and company procedures. Assist across different production areas when required. Requirements Minimum of 2 years' experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Previous fitting and assembly experience. Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings, including Third Angle Projection drawings. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Able to work independently as well as part of a team. Good problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Transport Coordinator - Feltham Hours: 07:00-17:00 Monday to Friday Salary: 33,000 Our client is looking for a proactive Transport Coordinator to join their team. This role is key to ensuring efficient route planning, excellent customer service, and full compliance with transport regulations. Key Responsibilities Plan and manage all routes efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries and collections. Ensure drivers comply with transport legislation and FORS standards. Provide drivers with site-specific booking details. Support KPI targets and assist drivers and the customer service team as needed. Maintain fleet compliance, including vehicle maintenance scheduling. Coordinate with internal departments and other depots. Support other areas of the operation as required. Candidate Requirements Transport coordination experience advantageous. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook. Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills. Production Technician - Temporary to Permanent Opportunity K&D Recruitment is supporting a local client who is looking for a Technician to join their team. This is a temporary role with the potential to become permanent. As a Technician, you will be responsible for repairing containers on a daily basis, using various hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, grinders, hammers, and chisels. Full training will be provided, so previous experience with hand tools is all that's required. You will be joining an experienced and supportive team, ensuring a smooth transition into the role.
