We are seeking an experienced Civils Supervisor to join the delivery team on a major industrial scheme located near Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity, for a Civils Supervisor/Senior Site Manager to play a key role on a high-profile, multi-million-pound development, working alongside a leading principal contractor on one of the South West's largest industrial schemes. We're seeking someone who has a strong background in heavy civil engineering or industrial construction projects. As Civils Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards while maintaining programme milestones. Essential: Previous experience as a Civils Supervisor, General Foreman or Site Supervisor. Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, reinforced concrete and infrastructure works. SMSTS or SSSTS qualification. CSCS Supervisor or Manager Card. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications. Full UK Driving Licence. Key Responsibilities: Supervise all civil engineering activities including earthworks, drainage, foundations, concrete works, roads and utilities. Coordinate subcontractors, labour and plant to achieve programme targets. Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality standards. Promote and enforce a strong health, safety and environmental culture across site. Deliver daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inductions. Monitor progress and provide updates to the Site Manager and Project Manager. Carry out inspections, quality checks and maintain accurate site records. Identify and resolve technical and operational issues to minimise delays. Ensure compliance with company procedures and CDM regulations.
