The Role: As a Software Engineer, you will: Develop and maintain software across platforms including Windows, Linux, web technologies, and real-time controllers. Exposure to or curiosity about modern DevOps practices (e.g. containerisation, cloud, CI/CD). A passion for software quality and maintainability. A growth mindset open to learning new languages, platforms, and techniques. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. A strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, data structures, and algorithmic problem solving. Curiosity about cross-platform development, real-time systems, or high-performance computing. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in small, multidisciplinary teams. Warehouse Operative (Contract Duration 4-6 weeks) Start Date: Immediate Location: Bristol, UK - Long Ashton Company: ARCA Resourcing About The Company Working for a leading engineering company supplying in to the automotive and motorsport sectors. The Role As a Warehouse Operator, you will play a key role in the smooth running of the operations, ensuring that components, materials, and equipment are received, stored, and distributed efficiently to support their engineering and production teams. Key Responsibilities Receiving, checking, and booking in deliveries. Picking, packing, and dispatching goods. Maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring stock is stored safely and logically. Supporting build teams by preparing and distributing parts. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment. Assisting with periodic stock counts and audits. Working closely with operations and engineering teams to support project delivery timelines. About You We re looking for someone proactive, organised, and reliable who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Essential Skills & Experience Previous warehouse, stores, or logistics experience. Strong organisational and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to use stock management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Forklift licence (counterbalance or reach) desirable but not essential. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
