The Role You'll manage your own portfolio of clients, taking responsibility for UK personal tax compliance whilst developing your involvement in advisory work. Your responsibilities will include: Managing your own portfolio of personal tax clients. Preparing complex Self Assessment tax returns. Advising clients on their UK tax obligations and deadlines. Supporting Directors with advisory assignments. Reviewing work completed by junior team members. Liaising with Accounts, Payroll and Business Management teams. Building trusted, long-term client relationships. Participating in technical training and continuous professional development. About You We're keen to hear from candidates who have: At least 2 years' experience in Personal Tax. Experience working with Owner Managed Businesses . ATT qualified and CTA qualified (or currently studying towards CTA). Strong technical knowledge with a genuine interest in tax legislation. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Role Overview The Assistant Accountant will support the finance function within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, providing accurate financial reporting, cost control support, and day-to-day accounting assistance.
