Tutor - Agency Role Education Family Wellbeing Service Location: Ashford/Medway Reports to: Senior Leadership Team Employment Type: Agency About the Role We're looking for dedicated tutors to join our Education Family Wellbeing Service (EFWS), working with children and young people who are Educated Other Than At School (EOTAS) or face Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges and Special Educational Needs (SEN). You'll make a real difference by raising engagement, achievement, and wellbeing among students who need additional support, working in EFWS provisions, community settings, and schools across the region. What You'll Do Teaching & Learning: Deliver engaging education to students with SEMH and SEN in various settings Plan, prepare, and teach across the curriculum using both traditional and online resources Adapt your approach to meet individual learning needs within our extended curriculum Support students through internal and external examinations Student Support & Progress: Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback Compile reports for parents/carers and other agencies Register attendance and maintain safe, encouraging learning environments Celebrate student achievements and promote high expectations Collaboration: Work closely with parents/carers, schools, health professionals, and social care providers Participate in professional development, meetings, and curriculum planning Share best practices and innovative teaching methods Support transitional programmes and school placements What We're Looking For Essential: Experience teaching secondary-aged students Experience working with students with SEN Success in raising wellbeing and achievement in both formal and informal settings Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to establish high expectations and build student self-esteem Knowledge of safeguarding, attendance, and SEND legislation Commitment to equality, diversity, and anti-discriminatory practice Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching primary-aged students Experience developing innovative learning experiences Knowledge of the secondary curriculum Experience engaging parents/carers as partners Facilitation of student voice activities Note: QTS holders will undertake full teaching responsibilities in line with DfE Teachers' Standards. We are currently seeking multiple experienced Non-Medical Prescribers (NMPs) to join a reputable, forward-thinking mental health provider on a self-employed, direct engagement basis. This is an exciting opportunity for dedicated clinicians with a passion for mental health and neurodiversity to support children and/or adults with ADHD in a flexible, fully remote setting. We are currently hiring specialist ADHD Non-Medical Prescribers to join one of our reputable private clients titration team. The post holder will be part of a multidisciplinary specialist project team and will support Consultant Psychiatrists by offering Independent and supplementary prescribing interventions to a specified caseload of patients with a diagnosis of ADHD. Fully remote laptop provided Contracts offered are either Full time (40 hours weekly) or Part time (25 hours weekly) Up to 6-month contract Temp to perm option available Adult patients only Outside IR35 Highly competitive hourly rates Main duties and responsibilities: Provide support to Consultant Psychiatrists by taking responsibility, under their direction, for medication initiation and monitoring. Monitor treatment effectiveness and potential side effects and where appropriate initiate prescribing changes within NICE Guidance (NG87), clients policies and agreed treatment standards. Make independent prescribing decisions in collaboration with the patient and keep the Consultant Psychiatrist informed during the titration process, as required, by keeping contemporaneous records in the electronic clinical record. Use internationally recognised and validated screening and monitoring tools, alongside our clients monitoring processes to implement excellent standards of patient care and achieve stabilisation of symptoms and treatment optimisation Qualifications required: First-level Registered Nurse, Qualified Pharmacist and GMC Registered Doctors. Independent & Supplementary Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) qualification or Registered General Medical Practitioner. Experience required: Relevant experience of ADHD treatment and management, with at least 12 months full-time previous working knowledge in a specialist ADHD service. Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage own case load. Advanced IT skills sufficient to the undertaking of the post as a remote worker for an online service provider. Evidence of working effectively with or within Multi-Disciplinary or Multi-Agency Teams in the past 2 years. Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills facilitating effective communication at an appropriate level to the recipient.
