Their offices are located in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne on the beautiful Quayside and they are proud of offer flexible and hybrid working pattern.The Opportunity: Head of Finance - Part TimeReporting to the CEO, the Head of Finance will work closely with the CEO ensuring first class financial management and robust financial controls, as well as playing a significant part in the management and strategic planning of the business. This is a part time, permanent position requiring the successful post-holder to work 3-4 days per week with flexibility around working patterns. The Head of Finance will be responsible for financial modelling, financial reporting, control and forecasting. The successful candidate will maintain good external relationships with partners, assist the CEO with contract management matters, and present financial information to the Ways to Wellness Board of Non-Executive Directors and Trustees. The postholder will be responsible for statutory accounts preparation, compliant with the Charities Act, Charities SORP and other applicable legislation.Key RequirementsWe are looking to speak to candidates who align with the following criteria: A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with senior-level experience. Strong analytical skills and a proactive, business-minded and strategic approach. Experience with charity finance, or experience with multiple funding streams and project accounting.
