Your new company I'm looking for a Fullstack Developer with Java experience to join a well-known team on a 12-month contract. Office attendance required at least 3 days per week. Your new role We are seeking an experienced Maximo Functional Consultant with strong hands-on configuration expertise in IBM Maximo Application Suite (Maximo v9). This role will focus on maintaining, supporting and enhancing the platform, ensuring it continues to meet operational and business requirements within a highly secure environment. Key responsibilities Configure and maintain Maximo v9 modules in line with business requirements. Support day-to-day application operations within an Application Support function. Manage incidents, service requests and problem tickets in line with agreed SLAs. Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective functional configurations. Configure workflows, automation scripts, domains, escalations and user interface components. Complete impact assessments for change requests and system enhancements. Support releases, patches and upgrades, including testing and validation activities. Collaborate with technical teams, developers and third-party vendors where required. Maintain system documentation, configuration records and support procedures. Provide user support, guidance and knowledge transfer as needed. Essential skills and experience Proven experience as a Functional Consultant working with IBM Maximo Application Suite, ideally Maximo v9. Strong configuration experience across: Work Management Assets Inventory Procurement Experience configuring workflows, escalations, security groups and business rules. Background working within Application Support or BAU environments. Experience of incident, problem and change management processes. Understanding of software lifecycle and change control processes. Familiarity with Remedy and/or Jira. Experience working within secure, regulated or Defence environments. Active UK Security Clearance (SC). Desirable skills and experience Exposure to Maximo integrations, including APIs and middleware. Understanding of Maximo technical architecture, including MBOs and database structures. Experience supporting Maximo upgrades or migrations, including migration to MAS / Maximo v9. Knowledge of ITIL processes. Previous experience within Defence or government programmes.
