Why This Role Stands Out Be the face of haemostasis expertise in the field Work with advanced diagnostic instrumentation and assays Combine science, training, and customer interactio n in one varied role Make a genuine impact on laboratory performance and patient outcomes Enjoy autonomy, trust, and visibility in a specialist position What You'll Be Doing: Hands-On Technical Support Install and verify haemostasis analysers and assays to laboratory standards Introduce new assay protocols and support customers through change Troubleshoot complex technical issues on-site and remotely Partner with Technical Managers and Field Service Engineers on advanced investigations Deliver software upgrades and application enhancements Expert Support When It Matters Provide high-quality telephone and remote support within defined service levels Accurately document cases using CRM systems Use remote access tools responsibly and compliantly Training, Educating & Knowledge Sharing Deliver engaging customer training courses on-site and in a dedicated laboratory environment Continuously evolve training materials to reflect best practice Maintain high customer competency and pass rates Design and deliver webinars on key haemostasis topics Support customer portals and competency assessment programmes Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement Complete quality and regulatory documentation to the highest standard Manage and investigate regulatory incidents within strict timelines Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards at all times What You'll Bring: Technical Expertise Strong haemostasis knowledge gained in a clinical laboratory setting Confident interpretation of scientific and technical documentation Logical, structured problem-solving approach People & Communication Skills Clear, confident communicator with excellent presentation skills Able to engage, train, and influence a wide range of stakeholders Customer-focused with strong listening skills Mindset & Work Style Highly organised and comfortable managing your own workload Self-motivated, proactive, and resilient Detail-driven with a passion for quality and improvement A collaborative team player who enjoys working cross-functionally What You'll Need: Essential BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science or a related discipline 3+ years' experience in a clinical laboratory environment (or equivalent senior role) Proven haemostasis experience Full UK driving licence Desirable Experience in a commercial, applications, or customer-facing role Familiarity with haemostasis instrumentation and laboratory IT systems Experience delivering technical training or presentations Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Benefits: Holiday Entitlement 28 days plus (8 days bank holiday), Bonus, Company Car, Pension, Health Care Insurance (BUPA), Cash Plan (Simplyhealth), Income Protection Insurance, Educational Grant Scheme, Employee Assistance Program, Life Insurance 6 times the annual salary, Perkbox, Gym membership.
