This role is for someone living within the Midlands and surrounding areas as you will have a 50/50 split between home and site. Key Responsibilities: Develop and prepare comprehensive cost estimates for tender bids (£50K £2M). Collate and analyse material, labour, plant, and subcontractor quotes. Ensure accurate risk assessment, including inflation and logistics. Monitor the company s core sectors: custodial, education, commercial, refurbishment, maintenance, residential. Coordinate with internal teams to align tender documentation and pricing. Maintain organised and defensible audit trails for all estimates. Work independently across the Midlands and Northern regions. Provide your own transport; a full UK driving license is essential. Qualifications & Requirements: Proven experience estimating for refurbishment and general construction projects (tenders between £50K £2M). Thorough understanding of our clients sector mix (custodial, education, commercial, residential, maintenance). RICS, BSc, BEng or CIOB qualification. Strong numerical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Full UK driving licence and ability to travel regionally.
