CLASS 2 Refuse Driver Taskmaster are currently recruiting for a CLASS 2 Refuse Driver for our client based in Peterborough. Main Duties: Drive/operate waste collection vehicles safely and collect waste from customers' premises. Ensure vehicle is roadworthy and load is safe for the public highway. Comply with all highway rules, e.g. speed limits and weight/height limits. Transport the load collected to an appropriate waste disposal facility. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times whilst carrying out these duties. Liaise with Traffic Office at the end of each working day to de-brief and clarify jobs completed on that day and check worksheets relating to jobs for the next day. Report any vehicle defaults to Depot Management according to laid down procedures. Report any issues relating to customer service to Depot Management on daily worksheets. Report any accidents or near misses according to procedure. Attend toolbox talks in order to encourage a safe working environment.
