Senior Technical Consultant £95,000 + benefits + discretionary bonusRemote (UK-based) Travel to client sites as required (typically 1-2 days per week)Must be eligible to obtain SC clearance We are partnering with a leading digital consultancy to appoint a Senior Technical Consultant. You will be a trusted advisor who can shape architectural decisions, guide delivery strategy, and provide expert technical leadership across complex digital transformation programmes. Around 80% of the role will be client-facing, working closely with senior stakeholders to advise on architecture, delivery strategy, and ensure successful project outcomes. The remaining 20% will focus internally, supporting the Digital Director and delivery teams in resolving technical challenges, improving processes, and strengthening practice capability. Key responsibilities Lead and guide technical delivery across multiple programmes, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned to business goals. Shape technical strategy and architecture decisions, influencing at senior level. Provide governance and assurance across software, infrastructure, DevOps, and data solutions (Azure environment). Mentor internal teams and contribute to continuous improvement across the consultancy. What you'll bring Proven experience in a senior technical or architecture leadership role within consultancy or complex delivery environments. Strong technical breadth across software engineering, DevOps, cloud (Azure), and infrastructure. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, able to influence senior audiences and simplify complex decisions. IT Engineer (2nd-3rd Line) Caerphilly On-site (5 days, 1 WFH day after probation) £30-40,000 + £3,600 bonus We're looking for a skilled IT Engineer to join a busy technical team, providing 2nd-3rd line support while also getting involved in project delivery. This is a role with plenty of variety, where you'll handle escalations, work across infrastructure and cloud, and develop your skills further with training and certifications supported. What you'll do: Troubleshoot and resolve 2nd-3rd line issues across infrastructure, cloud, and networking. Support and deliver IT projects (migrations, deployments, implementations). Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, VMware/Hyper-V. Work with storage/backup solutions (SAN, NAS, Veeam). Support security technologies (firewalls, VPN, wireless). What we're looking for: Proven 2nd/3rd line support experience. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server. Virtualisation experience (VMware, Hyper-V). Networking & security skills (VLANs, VPNs, firewalls). Backup/storage knowledge. Certifications (Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA, ITIL) are a bonus - or willingness to work towards them.
