Teqniq is searching for a Strategic Finance Manager (Social Care) to work in the public sector. 37 hours per week. 3 months contract. 09:00-17:00 Job Description: Hybrid working 1-2 days per week in the office (could be negotiable). The Strategic Finance Manager will be responsible for providing strategic financial support to the Adult Social Care service as well as a range of external bodies and partnership arrangements including joint work between health and social care. They ensure financial support is provided for the revenue and capital budget as well as advising and supporting the development and delivery of the medium-term financial plan. This involves close working with the Finance Business Analysts to ensure all major projects have appropriate financial resource to support decision making processes. The Strategic Finance Manager is the senior point of contact for the Strategic and Service Directors in financial decision making and control. In addition, they provide senior professional advice to committees of the authority and relevant joint committees e.g. Health and Wellbeing board. The role supporst the Head's of Finance in co-ordinating and delivery of the above activities across the organisation and its public sector partners which will involve bringing together lead officers and specialists from all directorates and public sector organisations. Teqniq is searching for a Maintenance Surveyor to work in the public sector. 36 hours per week. 3 months contract. 09:00-17:00 Job description: The position of Maintenance Surveyor will undertake a variety of tasks pertaining to the effective management of responsive repairs to dwellings, communal areas, garages and void properties. The post will be dexterous such that the post holders are able to apply their experience, skills and abilities to any of the following activities. Delivery of responsive repairs to HRA dwellings Delivery of responsive repairs to HRA communal areas Delivery of repairs to void properties Delivery of repairs to garages Delivery of Aids and Adaptations works Delivery of Health & Safety Estate Inspections Dealing with legal Housing Disrepair cases Accurate systematic diagnosis of causes and remedial works for dealing with damp and mould including wide range of diagnostic skills. Ideal candidate will have experience of Pre and Post Inspections. Experience of working in voids, disrepairs, minor works and complaints. Experience of asbestos awareness and understand SOR codes.
