Telemetry Outstation Developer Role Description The Telemetry Outstation Developer is a permanent role within the ICT Function. The role entails the configuration, commissioning and updating of telemetry outstations and hardware at both staffed and remote sites and maintenance of the central regional Telemetry system. Telemetry and SCADA are fundamental to NIW's operational capabilities. These systems provide NIW with remote monitoring and control at over 3,000 of the organisations Water and Sewerage installations. This is essential to NIW to ensure the optimum operation of plant, and to demonstrate that quality control monitoring meets the directives laid down by NIEA and DWI. Telemetry coverage is being extended and may rise to 5000+ locations. Telemetry Outstation Developers work closely with various internal NIW functions, (including Operations and Engineering Teams), and external bodies including consultants and contractors. A NVQ Level 5 (HND, DipHE or equivalent) qualification in a technology or electrical subject AND a minimum of one years' technical experience of Schneider Electric's Telemetry Application GeoSCADA or another Operational Technology / Industrial Control System application, including configuring logic, developing mimics and reports. OR A minimum of three years' technical experience of Schneider Electric's Telemetry Application GeoSCADA or another Operational Technology / Industrial Control System application, including configuring logic, developing mimics and reports. OR A NVQ Level 5 (HND, DipHE or equivalent) qualification in a technology or electrical subject AND a minimum of one years' technical experience working with Telemetry outstations (Remote Telemetry Units) including: Strong knowledge and experience configuring, commissioning and troubleshooting Telemetry Outstations Sound knowledge and experience identifying solutions and problem solving communication to/from Telemetry Outstations OR A minimum of three years' technical experience working with Telemetry outstations (Remote Telemetry Units) including: Strong knowledge and experience configuring, commissioning and troubleshooting Telemetry Outstations Sound knowledge and experience identifying solutions and problem solving communication to/from Telemetry Outstations 2. A full current driving license and access to a form of transport to enable the candidate to fulfil their responsibilities. 3. As a Mechanical & Electrical Contract Manager, within the Commercial Team, you can make a real difference to your community by supporting these vital services. From Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) to Integrated Supplier Frameworks used within NI Water's Capital Delivery programmes, the variety of contracts needed are diverse and interesting. The Commercial Team is about delivering best value solutions for the goods and services that NI Water requires to deliver water and wastewater service for their customers. The M&E Contract Manager is responsible for delivering effective contract management to ensure that goods and services are provided at the right quality, at the right time and at the right cost. They will work closely with internal stakeholders and build strong supplier relationships to ensure NI Water achieves best value. The role will also support the development of future M&E contracts and/or Integrated Supplier Frameworks and contribute to the evaluation of tenders for new and replacement contracts and frameworks. Demonstrate a working knowledge of the operation and use of M&E contracts including installation, repair and maintenance of mechanical and/or electrical assets; 4. Demonstrate ability and experience of performance management, measuring and delivery of KPI's with respect to external service providers; 5. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Wastewater Networks Sewerage Technician Role Description The key objective of the Wastewater Networks Sewerage Technician is to ensure the delivery of sewerage services which comply with regulatory and customer service standards.
