Commercial Gas Engineer - Job Summary. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated commercial gas engineer to carry out a broad range of planned and reactive gas tasks in Worcester/Gloucester and surrounding areas. Salary: 46,000 to 50,000 (subject to knowledge and experience) Benefits: Company van, fuel card, Employee Assistance Programme, company performance bonus and pension Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to) Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the estate as directed by Contract Manager (within capabilities and training) Work on own or as part of team to meet required deadlines and contract performance standards Work flexible working hours to suit business requirements Be on out of hours call out rota, attend emergency mechanical repair works as required Maintain a safe working environment for yourself, end users on site and general public at all Escalate issues to Supervisor/Contract Manager immediately. Commercial Gas Engineer We need an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team, the successful applicant will be required to work Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm (with overtime optional) travel time will also be included with the role, the applicant will also be expected to work as part off the on call rota (1 in 6) to carry out PPM and repairs to an industry standard. To identify materials and parts required to carry out repairs to the set company standard To keep your allocated company vehicle clean and tidy at all times, always wear the correct uniform and dispose of any waste to company/HSE regulations Person Specification: Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1 or CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or TPCP1) Full UK Driving Licence (clean licence desired). Must have proven customer service experience. This is a field-based role covering Essex and the London region, providing service, maintenance, and breakdown support on a wide range of commercial air conditioning systems. You'll be working across a variety of sites including offices, retail units, and commercial premises, ensuring systems are operating efficiently and in line with health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance on split systems, VRV/VRF, AHUs, and FCUs. Diagnose and repair faults on HVAC systems. Carry out system checks, fault finding, and efficiency tests. Maintain accurate records of work completed via a mobile device. Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally. Comply with health and safety policies and site regulations. Requirements: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent). F-Gas certification (2079 CAT 1 essential). Proven experience in air conditioning maintenance and repair. Full UK driving licence. Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
