What You'll Be Doing As a Sales Development Executive, you'll play an important role in supporting both the internal and external sales function. Your responsibilities will include: Identifying and researching prospective customers and new business opportunities Making outbound calls to introduce the business and generate leads for the sales team Preparing customer quotations and supporting the sales process from enquiry through to completion Working closely with the external sales team to ensure a high level of customer service Providing day-to-day administrative and commercial support to the wider team Building positive relationships with customers and maintaining excellent service standards This is a varied role where no two days are the same, offering a great mix of customer interaction, sales support and business development activity. About You We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and eager to develop within a commercial environment. You'll ideally have: Previous experience within a sales, customer service or business support role Confidence in making outbound calls and speaking with prospective customers A professional and friendly communication style Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages A proactive and positive approach with a willingness to learn The ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively within a team Experience within a manufacturing, technical or industrial environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
