The Role We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support to our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and senior leadership team. This is a pivotal role ensuring the smooth running of the executive office and supporting strategic priorities. Main Duties Manage the CEO s diary, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements. Prepare agendas, briefing papers, and take accurate minutes for board and leadership meetings. Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Support governance processes, including organising trustee meetings and maintaining records. Assist with project coordination and ensure timely follow-up on action points. Handle correspondence, draft communications, and manage sensitive information with discretion. The Successful Candidate Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role, ideally within the charity or non-profit sector. Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with digital collaboration tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills. The Role As Management Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering timely and accurate financial information, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring strong internal controls, and providing valuable insights to teams across the organisation. Main Duties Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts. The Role Developing and overseeing the organisation s long-term financial strategy Reporting to the board on the organisation s financial stability and discussing potential risks and mitigating strategies Delivering the annual, quarterly and monthly financials to the organisation Ensure the charity fulfils its legal, statutory and donor s obligations Oversight of HR, IT and Operations Main Duties Deliver reliable financial reports to the CEO and board Manage the finance, HR, IT and operations functions Support Media Defence achieving their financial strategy and wider (Apply online only) strategic goals The Successful Candidate Qualified accountant.
