We're looking for a Business Development Manager for a growing UK medical services provider, based remotely, on a permanent basis, paying up to £30,000 per annum. This role allows hybrid working with an expectation to attend the office 2-3 days per week. There is the possibility of teh role eventually becoming remote. The successful Business Development Manager will grow the client base for a range of low-cost medical assessment services. You'll run outreach through calling and emailing prospective organisations, introduce the service and build lasting relationships that turn into new business. Working within a small, close-knit team, you'll be focused on reaching more clients cost-effectively and widening the reach of the service. You will need proven experience in the following: Business development and sales Outreach via cold calling and email Introducing and promoting services to prospective clients Relationship building and account management Marketing and lead generation General administration Using AI to create systematic Lead Generation campaigns You'll also need practical exposure to selling into commercial sectors, including areas such as: Construction and industry Assessment-based service models Managing acquisition costs and working to budget Experience in the medical, clinical or healthcare sector would be beneficial. We're looking for a Senior Employee Relations Manager for a leading public sector organisation, based in Cambridge (hybrid), on a permanent basis, between £50,000 and £56,500 per year + Great benefits. This is a hybrid role with remote working available and some attendance at the office in Cambridge. The successful Senior Employee Relations Manager will act as deputy to the Head of Employee Relations, allocating casework, line managing a team of ER Advisors and stepping up to cover the Head of ER during periods of absence. You'll provide specialist, high quality advice to senior leaders on complex ER matters, ensuring processes are fair, legally sound and free from litigation risk. You'll also lead on policy development, deliver training and represent management at panels and tribunals as required. You will need proven experience working with the following: Managing complex employee relations casework including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters Advising senior managers on the interpretation of terms and conditions and employment legislation Line managing and developing an ER or HR advisory team Presenting management cases at appeals panels and supporting Employment Tribunals Consultation and negotiation with trade unions and staff side representatives Drafting and reviewing HR policies and procedures Designing and delivering corporate and bespoke training programmes You'll also need practical exposure to workforce improvement and leadership development, including areas such as: Coaching, mentoring and action learning sets Talent management and succession planning Job evaluation and job matching Producing workforce data, statistics and analysis CIPD qualification is highly desirable for this role.
