We are looking for an experienced and proactive Field Manager to take responsibility for the growth management of our brassica and cabbage crops from field to harvest. This is a hands-on role, working closely with the planning team and leading harvest operations to ensure quality, yield, and timing targets are consistently met. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day field operations for brassicas and cabbages across designated sites Work closely with the planning team to forecast harvest volumes and harvest dates accurately Monitor crop development and assess crop health, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions Plan and manage harvest schedules to meet customer and business requirements Lead, coordinate, and manage harvest teams, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met Ensure crops are harvested to specification and quality standards Maintain accurate field records, forecasts, and reports Support continuous improvement in crop performance, labour efficiency, and harvest processes Skills & Experience Proven experience in field or crop management, ideally within brassicas or similar vegetable crops Strong understanding of crop growth stages, yield forecasting, and harvest planning Experience managing teams in a fast-paced, seasonal environment Ability to assess crop health and respond effectively to challenges such as weather, pests, or disease Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with planning and operations teams Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail What We Offer A key role within a well-established and forward-thinking growing operation Competitive salary, dependent on experience Opportunity to work closely with senior planning and operations teams A varied, outdoor-focused role with real responsibility and impact To apply, please email your CV to Katie by following the link below.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor to join a thriving FMCG business with 80years experience. Working with and reporting to the Production Manager your job will be production planning, planning people and booking temps. Delegating the work load to the Line leaders, ensuring the operations are running on time and in line with the quality expectations set by the technical team. You will need a sound understanding of the basics of working line machinery. All designs are then made to the exception standards achieved only by their own crafts people on site. You will be designing stunning, accurate, masterpieces to meet client briefs, functional requirements, and their brand standards. Duties 3D CAD, CAD, Falcon, Articad and other design software Design kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and cabinetry solutions to client specifications Prepare technical drawings, measurements Produce detailed layouts, visuals and proposals Producing high quality rendering Work closely with sales, production and installation teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy Client facing, understanding their style preferences, taking feedback , making amendments Ensuring safety standards Experience Proficiency in Articad or similar is essential Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality finishes Ability to interpret client briefs and translate into practical solutions Excellent spatial awareness and technical understanding Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-end environment Experience of kitchen and bathroom design would be handy but not essential. They are gently heated in winter to keep the frost out and get the germinating gowing. They grow plants for a large variety of customers but its all business to business. This is a wonderful opportunity to join the team. Growing (plants), as well as manage all the mail order business. You will be doing the whole lot: Talking orders from the internal system Sowing seeds Pricking out Ensuring your orders are growing beautifly Updating the system Updating the customers Sending photos and images Maintaining warm and friendly customer contact Organising the plant collections with couriers Packing and dispatching Following the couriers to ensure the smooth and gentle delivery Addressing any issues along the way. This position is very customer centric, you have great customer servce skills, both written and verbal and will be able to prioritise your work load and manage your day. The days can be quite long in a nursery as the plants never sleep. During the summer peak, you could be working (Apply online only) hours Monday to Friday. Saturday is a half day.
