Role: Finance Administrator Location: Near Meriden CV7 (Hybrid - 3 days office based) Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 (depending on experience) Benefits: Flexible hybrid working, access to Vitality health after probation completion and 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays We are working on behalf of a growing and successful business who is seeking to recruit an experienced Finance Administrator to join their friendly and supportive team. Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will support the day-to-day finance and administration across 3 companies within the Group, working closely with colleagues across finance, service and project support. This is a varied role combining accounts administration with wider business support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week with a flexible working pattern to be agreed. You will be required to attend the office near Meriden 3 days a week. Due to the office location, your own transport is essential. As a business they use Xero accounting, previous experience is desirable. • As a Finance Administrator you will be supporting the FD working across a busy finance function supporting 3 companies within the Group • Responsible for checking, processing and recording supplier invoices • Reconciling supplier statements and company credit card transactions • Handling supplier invoice queries and liaising with suppliers professionally • Assisting with customer invoicing and supporting the Service team with scheduling and cross checking invoice data • Liaising with operational teams to resolve queries and support day-to-day business activities • Chasing outstanding paperwork and ensuring records are maintained accurately • Maintaining electronic filing and document management systems • Providing general finance and administration support as required Skills and experience required: • Proven work history within a busy Accounts or Finance department essential • Previous experience as an Accounts Administrator, Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant or Invoice Administrator essential • Good understanding of basic accounting principles including VAT • Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy • Excellent verbal, written and numerical communication skills • Positive, proactive and enthusiastic mentality • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload independently • Team player with a customer-focused approach • Naturally keen to learn, develop and suggest process improvements Benefits • Flexible hybrid working arrangements • Employer pension scheme • Friendly and supportive working environment • 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays If you have the relevant skills and experience, and are actively seeking a varied Finance Administrator role within a growing and supportive company, then please apply today. Provide flexible administrative support as required Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Senior Administrator or Team Administrator essential. Strong diary management, meeting coordination, minute-taking and executive administration skills. Experience supporting board administration, company secretarial processes or Companies House filings is advantageous. Proactive, solutions-focused and able to exercise sound judgement.
