Independent Forgings and Alloys Ltd (IFA) are continuing to invest and grow, and we are looking to add to our Engineering team. We are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer. Over the last few years, we have invested in the business and have successfully doubled our turnover. The role is working on a rotating 3 shift pattern Monday - Friday with overtime available Main duties: Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks. Installation of new plant. Planning mechanical maintenance tasks for completion during the shutdown. Development and upgrading of existing equipment. Good knowledge of safety and permit to work systems. More about you: We would like you to be an apprentice trained maintenance engineer who is mechanically bias. You must have experience in a heavy forge environment coupled with good working knowledge of hydraulics (ideally Oilgear Towler) and great mobile plant maintenance skills (manipulator, FLT and OHC). Experience of break downs on presses, hammers, lathes and borers would also be beneficial, however not essential. The Role The Data Analyst will be responsible for gathering data from various sources (e.g., SQL databases, Excel files, cloud services), clean, transform, and model data using Power Query and DAX, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
