The successful candidate will be working with a dynamic design team and be responsible for designing components. Responsibilities as a CAD Designer: Designing components, schemes and special items for customer orders on AutoCAD. Working on live orders from receipt to production. Produce AutoCAD general arrangements and component drawings and CNC drawings. Project coordination of special jobs - this will involve documentation control, Bill of material control & checks, planning, liaising with other departments. Checking of special components and inspecting finished product. Produce drawings and clean orders in a timely manner. Being able to field enquiries on the phone and via email. Requirements: Design related degree High competence and experience in AutoCAD - both 2D and 3D. High competence and experience in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Understanding of technical drawings, general arrangement, first angle projection and competency with manufacturing drawings. Ability to communicate by phone with customers, suppliers and external sales staff. Highly organised individual with attention to detail and good time management skills.
