The Role Key purpose of the role is to produce accurate and compliant designs for fire alarm and fire suppression systems, supporting the wider engineering and project delivery teams. This role ensures that all life safety system designs meet relevant standards, integrate with building fire strategies, and are delivered to a high technical standard. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: • Produce accurate CAD drawings to relevant specifications and standards for water mist fire suppression systems.• Generate reliable cost estimates and material requirements from approved drawings.• Attend site meetings and undertake site surveys where required.• Maintain robust drawing identification, version control, and registers.• Ensure compliance with all applicable standards, including the production of hydraulic calculations.• Coordinate designs with colleagues, installation engineers, clients, and other contractors.• Complete all assigned training courses and maintain professional technical knowledge.• Maintain timely and professional communication with colleagues and clients.• Adhere to all company QHSE policies and report any concerns or incidents.
