Delta V Systems Engineer Contract Remote Location: Remote This is an excellent opportunity to join a major client, supporting the successful operation of a major energy plant. The role will be supporting the DCS and Instrumentation assets and the successful engineer must be highly proficient in all aspects of Emerson Delta V . This is a wide ranging role, potentially long term role, and can be based remote with access to client systems. This role is outside IR35. Role & Responsibilities Expertise in Emerson Delta V is essential. Role will be taking on a number of tasks including, but not limited to, merging Delta V databases. Responsible for creating procedures, checks and balances before and after the implementation of the database merge. Identification of potential database conflicts ahead of scheduled merge. Engineer will have remote access to standalone simulator to aid with migration and progression of works. Supporting the DCS and Instrumentation assets during detailed design, construction, commissioning and then the operations of the plant. Future work may involve a range of Delta V system rationalisation and upgrade projects. Assist the Plant and the Operations Managers with optimising the process during operational trials. Key Skills & Knowledge Relevant qualification (HNC / HND or above). Strong experience in Emerson Delta V is essential. Emerson Delta V certifications essential, including SIS. Previous experience supporting the design, construction and commissioning of major energy plants. CCNSG Safety Passport essential - SSTS/SMSTS cards would be an advantage. Additional Information This role is outside IR35. Initially a c.3 month scope of work but has potential to become very long term.

Senior Electrical Engineer Contract Remote Location: Remote / Hybrid Location: Hybrid This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading engineering business during a period of continued growth as they support the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Renewable Energy sectors. Our client can accommodate a hybrid working pattern with alternate weeks wfh / in the office in West Wales. The role will be outside IR35. Role & Responsibilities Undertake design and checking of deliverables according to discipline and area of expertise. Checking the quality of subcontractor design work to ensure compliance with agreed client design specifications. Preparation and checking of deliverables including drawings, schedules, datasheets, specifications, (input to control philosophies and narratives if applicable). Must understand wiring diagrams, control logic diagrams, system descriptions, system calculations, 1-line and 3-line AC drawings, AC & DC schematics, and be able to size equipment and perform cable sizing calculations Participation in design review, 3D Model Reviews, Value Engineering, Risk Management workshops, Design and testing of simulation software devices for complete project simulation. Responsible for engineering design and assessment in line with client expectations as well as supporting others within the team. Will be required to provide input into HAZOP / HAZIDs. Key Skills & Knowledge Must be degree qualified, chartered status desired but not essential. Experience of designing electrical equipment, preferably in an energy industry environment. Previously worked on design projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochem, or Renewable Energy industries. Experience of electrical equipment and its application in conventional and safety applications. Experience in relevant design standards and protocols. Experience in other major energy such as Energy from Waste or similar will also be highly advantageous. Previous site experience in conjunction with a design background beneficial.

Senior / Principal C&I Engineer Contract Location: West Wales This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading engineering business during a period of continued growth as they support the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Renewable Energy, and Hydrogen sectors. TUV Certified status would be a bonus, though not essential. Role & Responsibilities Undertaking work providing Process Engineering support to a range of CAPEX and OPEX projects. Performing safety specification and certification of safety instrumented systems. Carry out SIL Verification using simplified equations. Undertake design and checking of deliverables according to discipline and area of expertise. Checking the quality of design work to ensure compliance with agreed client design specifications. Preparation and checking of deliverables including drawings, schedules, datasheets, specifications, (input to control philosophies and narratives if applicable). Development of C&I standard procedures, templates and protocols for consulting activities. Development and/or acquisition of suitable analysis tools, databases and software to enhance company s overall service. Participation in design review, 3D Model Reviews, Value Engineering, Risk Management workshops. Supporting development of ICSS, DCS and SCADA architectures for offshore environments, including brownfield C&I upgrades. Design and testing of simulation software devices for complete project simulation. Responsible for engineering design and assessment in line with client expectations as well as supporting others within the team. Will be required to provide input into HAZOP / HAZIDs. Key Skills & Knowledge Must be degree qualified, chartered status desired but not essential. Experience of designing electrical equipment, preferably in an energy industry environment. Senior C&I Designer Contract West Wales Location: West Wales This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading engineering business during a period of continued growth as they support the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Renewable Energy and Nuclear sectors. The role will be working as part of the client organization on site supporting upgrade and modifications to a live hydrocarbon plant. The successful person must be proficient in using 3D AutoCAD while any knowledge of SPI Intools would be beneficial. The role is outside IR35. Role & Responsibilities Site based role integrated as part of the client design team on a live operational hydrocarbon processing plant. Producing new / updating existing detailed C&I design documentation including, loop diagrams, control panel schematics, cable calculations, filed connection diagrams, I/O schedules, control circuits, failsafe circuits, LV power distribution & protection, single line diagrams, control panel GAs and layouts. Must be proficient developing designs using Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI). The role will require regular site walks to assess the operational requirements and obtain data needed for successful completion of C&I designs. The primary software used is Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) in addition to AutoCAD. Working potentially on multiple projects at any given time. Contributing to site requests by providing technical analysis. Production of documentation to support construction. Key Skills & Knowledge Must be qualified to ONC / HNC as a minimum. Experience of EC&I engineering documentation. Must be proficient in using 3D AutoCAD, knowledge of SPI Intools would be beneficial. Experience of PLC and DCS systems. Must have proven experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochem, Renewable Energy sectors or similar. Additional Information This is a contract role, outside IR35.
