Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our central government client, who is seeking a Solution Architect for an initial six-month assignment with the option to extend. Location: Hybrid working - East Kilbride About the role: You will be responsible for ensuring architectural coherence, governance, and alignment with organisational objectives, while enabling delivery teams to build secure, scalable, and sustainable solutions . The ideal candidate will hold active SC clearance and have a strong background in delivering Solution Architecture support, with the following skills and experience: Experience designing and implementing cloud solutions across major providers (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle) Experience of navigating platform-specific features and optimising and automating (IaC) deployments for maximum security, performance, and cost-effectiveness. Knowledge of both software and infrastructure design considerations and be comfortable working with engineers. Experience architecting and securing solutions within highly sensitive and classified environments, including familiarity with relevant security policies, regulations, and best practices. Experience with identity and access management solutions, including privileged access management, and ability to architect secure authentication and authorisation mechanisms. (Desirable) Experience with software-defined networking, storage, and compute solutions, including virtualization technologies and their implementation in government data centres. (Desirable)

Location: Hybrid working - London About the role: You will be responsible for analysing, delivering and supporting the improvement of operational process and policies for a Cyber and Information Security function. The ideal candidate will hold Active SC clearance and have a strong background in Cyber Policy support, with the following skills and experience: Experience in writing and producing policies. Experience of Cyber Standards and Frameworks (ISO27001, NIST, CAF) Experience in Gap Analysis & Business Analysis. Experience of conducting data analysis collection to support policy development.
