About the Role The Assistant Plan Coordinator supports the Local Authority in fulfilling its statutory duties for children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Support and process applications for needs assessments, quality-check submissions, and communicate outcomes within statutory deadlines. Build and maintain constructive working relationships with colleagues, external partners, elected members and the public. Research, compile and analyse data, producing reports, statistical returns and information for subject access requests. Prioritise workloads, manage conflicting demands and maintain performance expectations. Input, maintain and check electronic data ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Undertake any other duties appropriate to the grade. Experience & Knowledge Education & Training Relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent. Training and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Handling confidential, sensitive or contentious information. Communicating effectively with a wide range of people, including the public. Managing demanding workloads and meeting strict deadlines.
