The Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant Job plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial processing, reconciliations, and reporting across bank accounts, credit cards, petty cash, and miscellaneous expenses. Key Responsibilities of Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant Reconciliation of bank accounts for multiple entities Reconciliation of credit card accounts, petty cash, and miscellaneous expenses Preparation and posting of journals, including VAT-related entries Daily posting of direct bankings Supporting accurate financial reporting and cash flow information Providing occasional cover for other finance roles and general administrative accounts support Updating of bank mandates Improving processes and project work About You As Finance Assistant / Accounts Assistant Currently studying towards an accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA,CIMA or equivalent) - stopped or paused study will also be considered.
