Duties and Responsibilities: - Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to the hotel's standards and specifications. - Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and creating innovative culinary offerings. - Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring that all food preparation is carried out efficiently and to the highest standards. - Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation, while ensuring proper food safety and hygiene practices are followed. - Monitor stock levels, assist in inventory control, and place orders for necessary ingredients and supplies. - Maintain a clean and organised workstation, adhering to all health and safety regulations. - Embrace a culture of continuous improvement, actively seeking opportunities to enhance culinary techniques and contribute to menu development. Requirements: - Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role within a reputable establishment. - Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of different cooking techniques and food presentation. - Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional dishes. - Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. - Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
