Electronics Test Engineer Wiltshire Location: Collingbourne Ducis Type: Full-time, Permanent, On-site Salary: £25,000 £28,000 Hours: Monday Thursday 9 am 5:30 pm, Fridays 9 am 2 pm Reporting to: Applications Manager About the Company: Our client, located in Wiltshire, specialises in designing and manufacturing replacements for End-of-Life (EOL) and obsolete electronic components for a diverse global clientele. To support their operations, they are seeking a hands-on Test Engineer who will be dedicated to ensuring the quality and reliability of electronic components through thorough testing and analysis. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in either the commercial, industrial, military or aerospace sectors. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute test plans and procedures Perform electrical, functional, and physical testing Analyse and report results accurately Collaborate with engineering and quality teams Maintain and calibrate test equipment Company Benefits: 20 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays 2 Week Paid Christmas Shutdown Contributory Pension Scheme Ideal Candidate: Background in electronics/electrical engineering Experience with test equipment (e.g. power supplies, multimeters, microscopes) Familiarity with AS6171/AS6081 standards Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills LabVIEW experience preferred, but similar packages considered Equipment You'll Use: Note: If not already trained on/using the following equipment, candidate must be willing to undergo training to use the following equipment. Curve Tracer, X-ray machines (2D & 3D), FTIR, Ramen Spectroscopy XRF, Acoustic Coupling, Acid Bath, Mechanical Decapsulation Important Notes: This role requires demonstrable industry experience and is therefore not suitable for entry-level applicants.
