Procurement Specialist Location: Office based, Alva, Clackmannanshire - FK12 5DQ Salary: £28,119-£32,000 per annum, DOE plus benefits Contract: Permanent, Full time Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am 2.30pm At Accubio Ltd, we are dedicated to developing cutting-edge diagnostic solutions that improve lives. We are looking for a motivated Procurement Specialist to join our team to source and purchase materials, equipment and services that ensure we deliver high-quality products to our customers. Why this role matters: As our Procurement Specialist, you ll play a key role working with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to deliver cost effective solutions and minimise supply chain interruption. This is your chance to influence procurement processes, suppliers and efficiencies. What you ll be doing: Your day-to-day will be dynamic, purposeful and full of opportunities to grow. Key responsibilities include: • Reviewing company purchase requests and understanding requirements • Processing purchase orders in ERP system • Supporting the negotiation of contracts, tracking and follow up on execution • Supporting the screening, validation and selection of vendors • Supplier management, performance review and resolving issues • Ownership of procurement documentation in QMS • Identify and highlight potential issues in processes, whilst continuously seeking opportunities for improvement. What you bring: We re looking for someone who s not just experienced - but driven, detail-oriented and ready to make a difference. • Minimum three years experience in similar role • Proven success in negotiating contracts and supplier management • Strong organisational and administrative skills including Microsoft Office • Strong knowledge and experience of ERP systems • The ideal candidate will have experience in medical devices, pharma or a similarly regulated industry e.g., food • Clear, confident communicator - written and verbal • High attention to detail with a methodical mindset • Ability to meet deadlines, agile with priorities • Self-motivated and collaborative.
