This role will be accountable for managing all components of contract administration, including sourcing, supplier coordination, and regulatory adherence, with a specialisation in payment processes under the Construction Act. Key Responsibilities: Act as lead for implementing projects: owning the sourcing/procurement workstream for payment programmes amongst the construction category Confidently working with NEC & JCT Contracts Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining valuable relationships with procurement teams, external public bodies and council directors Negotiate and collaborate with Local Authorities to initiate early payment offers into bid evaluation and procurement documentation Act as the point of contact for client queries regarding early payment in complex tenders Support and work alongside the Head of Sourcing and Procurement in client interventions and developing project plans Ensuring the clients adhere to the changes agreed to construction sourcing processes Essential experience: Knowledgeable of the Construction Act, including construction payment processes Experienced in stakeholder management, in a client-facing environment Clear understanding of the processes of procurement and contracting, essentially working with NEC & JCT contracts The ability to handle complex issues, and overcome challenges faced Katie Bard will be managing your application in accordance with the GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. This is fully in office 5 days and is offering up to 26k a year! Please note this role is 9-5:30pm but may require later finishes on event days which would mean a later start the next day.
