Job Title: Desktop Vehicle Damage Assessor Home Based Salary: £40,000 £45,000 (pro rata) Job Type: Temporary / Self-Employed (Initial Contract with view to turning Permanent) Location: Remote (UK-based) Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week Full Job Description Pybus Recruitment is currently recruiting for multiple Desktop Vehicle Damage Assessors / Estimators (VDAs) on behalf of one of the UK s leading organisations in vehicle testing, inspection, and certification. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team following a major new contract win, with roles offered initially on a self-employed or temporary contract basis, and a strong likelihood of becoming permanent upon successful completion of the trial period. Key Responsibilities Assess vehicle damage remotely using images and supporting information Produce accurate and cost-effective repair estimates Liaise with relevant stakeholders to manage claims efficiently Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company procedures Deliver high levels of accuracy and attention to detail Requirements Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator Familiar using Audatex or GT Motive Background in a bodyshop or accident repair environment Strong understanding of repair methods and estimating systems Ability to work independently in a home-based setting Strong communication and organisational skills Available for an immediate or short notice start What s On Offer £40,000 £45,000 (pro rata), depending on experience Predominantly remote working with minimal travel Opportunity to work with a market-leading organisation Clear path to a permanent position Supportive and professional working environment Application Process If you are an experienced VDA or Estimator and looking for a flexible, home-based opportunity, we d love to hear from you.
