Job Title: CNC Turner Setter/Programmer Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire Salary: £19 per hour + £3 per hour shift premium (£22/hour for late afternoon/evening shift) Estimated Annual Salary (before overtime): £42,328 Overtime: Available at time and a half About the Company Join a leading aerospace and precision engineering company, working on cutting-edge aerospace components in a clean, modern, and well-organized facility. Your expertise will directly impact the production of high-specification components for a range of aerospace clients. We need a Masking Operator for an advanced high-precision manufacturing company based in Glasgow East Investment Park. Previous experience is not necessary, as full training will be provided. A Masking Operator is typically involved in surface preparation and protective masking in manufacturing processes. The Masking Operator will receive comprehensive in-house training in all aspects of masking for painting and anodising. Full competency may take up to one year to achieve, requiring dedication and patience throughout the training process. Rate is £15.24 per hour + 10% shift allowance = £16.76 per hour for two-shift rotation (they will move onto shifts and receive the allowance once fully trained) Shift Schedule "one week on, one week off" shift schedule with early and late rotations Early Shift: Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM Friday: 6:00 AM to 1:30 PM Late Shift Monday to Thursday: 1:45 PM to 9:45 PM Friday: 1:15 PM to 8:45 PM Masking Operator Key Responsibilities: Produce components in line with delivery requirements against agreed schedules & cost Complete Job cards with all relevant details of process carried out Clean and maintain work areas Report equipment faults to maintenance staff Record & maintain work related data Pack goods, with protective materials Support team members as a part of team development and/or induction Contribute to continuous improvement activities Contribute to plans and forecasts within the work area Masking Operator Skills & Behaviours: Must have a steady hand and keen eye for detail Collaborative attitude within the team Proactive with good time management Display a positive attitude and be resilient to setbacks Good written and verbal communication What s in it for you? Full time, permanent contract, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
