The successful Design Manager will be involved in the full project life cycle and be involved in an exciting £50m Commercial Fit-Out/Refurbishment scheme in the UK to support the development and management of the design function within the business. Design Manager Responsibilities: Coordinate project team comments and resolve any design-related construction queries with the design team A desire to constantly learn, improve and share knowledge and experience Demonstrating management qualities to encourage effective design team and construction team coordination and collaborative working to meet the Project goals Understanding the project requirements, including Client brief & business processes, and Employer Requirements Assisting in the mitigation of design risks as part of the team Take part in design coordination and design progress meetings with the design team and subcontractors, and ensure that design risk assessments are produced.
